Quick Answer

The Athletic & Movement Assessment is a 60-minute, data-driven screening of how you move — mobility, strength, balance, and force production — that identifies the limitations and asymmetries most likely to limit performance or cause injury, and gives you a corrective plan to address them.

Personalized Care Path

Our Athletic & Movement Assessment is designed for individuals looking to optimize their performance or safely return to high-demand activities. We use evidence-based screening protocols to evaluate mobility, stability, and movement efficiency. By identifying specific limitations or compensatory patterns, we can develop a targeted strategy to enhance your performance and mitigate injury risk. You will receive a detailed summary of findings and a corrective movement plan to integrate into your training. By analyzing how your joints and muscles coordinate, we help you unlock movement efficiency and prevent overuse injuries before they occur.

At Regenesis, we treat a variety of conditions, from chronic back pain to acute sports injuries. We believe in one-on-one sessions that prioritize your goals. We don't just treat the symptoms—we identify the root cause of your pain to ensure long-term physical wellness.

Who is Athletic & Movement Assessment for?

This assessment serves athletes and active people at decision points: starting a new season or training block, returning to high-demand activity after time away, working around a recurring 'niggle' that never quite becomes an injury, or simply wanting an objective picture of physical strengths and weaknesses. It's equally useful for runners chasing a race goal, team-sport athletes from Surrey's soccer, cricket, and hockey communities, and gym-goers whose progress is limited by something they can feel but can't name. You do not need to be elite — asymmetries and mobility limitations are universal; measuring them is just rare outside professional sport.

What does a first visit look like?

The 60-minute assessment moves through a structured battery: joint-by-joint mobility screening, strength testing of key muscle groups with side-to-side comparison, balance and single-leg control, and — where relevant to your sport — force-plate analysis of jumping and landing mechanics. Your assessor explains each finding as it appears, so the session doubles as an education in how your body currently moves. You leave with a written summary: your measured results, the two or three limitations that matter most, and a corrective movement plan that slots into your existing training rather than replacing it. Re-testing after 8–12 weeks is available to quantify the change.
