Personalized Care Path

Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) at Regenesis utilizes advanced manual techniques to manage soft tissue dysfunction, reduce muscle tension, and support nervous system regulation. Therapeutic massage is an integral component of a comprehensive rehabilitation plan, helping to manage symptoms related to stress, postural strain, and musculoskeletal injuries. During a session, your registered therapist will assess your tissue health and joint range of motion to provide a targeted treatment. We focus on symptomatic relief while coordinating with your other care providers to support your overall recovery journey.

At Regenesis, we treat a variety of conditions, from chronic back pain to acute sports injuries. We believe in one-on-one sessions that prioritize your goals. We don't just treat the symptoms—we identify the root cause of your pain to ensure long-term physical wellness.

Who is Massage Therapy (RMT) for?

RMT care helps two broad groups. The first is people whose primary problem is soft-tissue: persistent muscle tension from desk work and stress, postural strain across the neck and shoulders, tension-type headaches, and general recovery from training. The second is patients inside a larger rehab plan — ICBC claimants (typically pre-approved for 12 massage sessions after an accident), and physiotherapy patients whose muscle guarding or trigger points are slowing progress. Because our RMTs work alongside physiotherapists in the same clinic, massage at Regenesis is integrated rather than isolated: findings are shared, and treatment supports the same goals as the rest of your plan.

What does a first visit look like?

Your first RMT visit starts with a health history and a focused assessment — your therapist checks the range of motion and tissue quality in the areas involved, and asks what outcome you're looking for, whether that's less neck tension at work or faster recovery between training sessions. Treatment follows in the same visit, with draping and pressure always adjusted to your comfort — clinical massage should feel purposeful, and 'more pain' does not mean 'more benefit'. Your therapist finishes with practical advice: what to expect over the next 24–48 hours, simple stretches or heat strategies, and an honest recommendation on frequency. Direct billing to ICBC and most private plans is processed at the front desk.
